WHAT IS THE SACRED LINE
OF ST. MICHAEL?
The name of our practice, The Sacred Line, is drawn from a deeply rooted Catholic tradition known as The Sacred Line of St. Michael — a mysterious alignment of monasteries dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel that stretches across Europe and the Middle East. From Skellig Michael off the coast of Ireland, through Mont Saint-Michel in France, to St. Michael’s Mount in England and beyond to Mount Carmel in Israel, these sacred sites fall on a perfect diagonal line. Tradition holds that this alignment symbolizes the sword-blow St. Michael struck against Lucifer, casting him out of heaven.

This sacred line serves as a spiritual reminder that there is a battle between light and darkness — not just in the heavens, but within each soul. It is a symbol of protection, courage, and divine order — values that resonate deeply with the mission of our practice.
